A BUDDHIST APPROACH TO MENTAL HEALTH
In general we regard our physical health as the most important type of health, and we may disregard developing a healthy state of mind. However, health and happiness depend primarily upon the quality of our mental state.
Since meditation is the main tool for creating a positive mind, everyone needs meditation for a healthy, happy, and enriching life.
Tony Atkinson has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for a number of years. His teachings are practical, clear and relevant to daily life.
Patrick Manning started meditation & Buddhism classes in 2009, and has a deep appreciation for Buddha’s teachings. He is a dedicated student on our Foundation Program and teaches with sincerity and humility.
How to attend this class
1) LIVE STREAMING – Stream the class live or book and view the class anytime within 6 days of the live class.
Cost $10 full, $8 conc, $5 student (under 18yrs), free for LDKBC members.
