Learn to Meditate in Half a Day
Meditation is a way of calming the mind, reducing stress and developing and maintaining a more positive approach to life.
This half day course provides an opportunity to learn how to meditate and how to use the experience of meditation to improve your daily life. A great course both for beginners and those who wish to improve their meditation skills.
Everyone is welcome! No previous experience is required.
Cost: $25 adult, $20 concession, FREE for members
Kadam Mick Marcon is the Resident Teacher at Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Newcastle and has been practising meditation and Buddhism since 2004. With his clear understanding of Buddha’s teachings and down-to-earth manner, he inspires us to develop a pure mind, thereby uncovering for ourself a deep contentment and happiness. Mick teaches weekly drop-in classes, our courses and retreats, as well as the Foundation Program.
