Meeting weekly, at Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Mayfield, this program is ideal for those who already attend drop-in classes and would like to deepen their knowledge and experience of Dharma (Buddhist teachings).
FP classes consist of teachings, guided meditations and discussions that are aimed at improving the student’s practical application of Kadampa Buddhist teachings in their daily life.
Each week, Resident Teacher, Kadam Mick Marcon will give a practical commentary to the book ‘How to Understand the Mind’ by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

The class is held on Wednesday evenings 7.00pm–9.00pm. Class is on most weeks, see below for dates.
The class is located at Losang Dragpa Buddhist Centre, 36 Texas St, Mayfield.
The monthly cost of attending the program is $45, concession is $35. With a Centre Card, the program is of no additional cost. It is a committed study program, first class is free to trial.
Parking: Out of consideration for our neighbours, please park away from The Centre if possible. Suggested parking, Baker St, adjacent Mayfield Diggers Carpark. Thank you!

Kadam Mick Marcon is the Resident Teacher at Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Newcastle and has been practising meditation and Buddhism since 2004.
